Onyx AI Labs Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates Onyx Legion, a multi-AI deliberation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials. For phone authentication, we collect and verify your phone number.

Usage Data

We collect information about your interactions with our platform, including queries submitted, AI models selected, token usage, and response preferences.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe for web purchases. We do not store complete credit card numbers. We retain transaction IDs, amounts, and subscription status.

iOS App Purchase

Onyx Legion for iOS is a paid app ($3.99 USD) available through the Apple App Store. When you purchase the app, Apple processes your payment. We do not receive your payment information. Upon first sign-in, iOS users are automatically credited with 2,500 tokens. Your App Store purchase is linked to your Apple ID and subject to Apple's payment processing and privacy policies.

Apple In-App Purchases (iOS Only)

The iOS app offers optional In-App Purchases (IAP) for additional tokens and monthly subscriptions. All IAP transactions are processed by Apple. We receive notification of completed purchases but do not have access to your payment method or financial details. IAP products include:

  • Token Packs: One-time purchases ($4.99 - $79.99) for additional tokens
  • Subscriptions: Monthly auto-renewable subscriptions ($9.99 - $49.99/month) with recurring token allocations

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings. See Apple's subscription management guide.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • To process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • To send service announcements and administrative messages
  • To respond to your requests and provide customer support
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

  • AI Model Providers: Your queries are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek) to generate responses. Each provider has their own privacy policy.
  • Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google), Stripe (web payments), Apple (iOS payments), and SendGrid (email) to operate our platform.
  • Apple Services (iOS): iOS users' payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We only receive purchase confirmation data (product ID, transaction ID) to credit tokens. Apple's Privacy Policy governs how they handle your payment information.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and conversation history for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page. Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted data at rest, secure authentication (JWT tokens), and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your conversation history
  • Opt out of marketing communications

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform.
